The Irish Mission was first created in May 1962 when President Covey was first called. President Covey was released in June 1965.

IRISH MISSION MISSION REUNION
Friday April 5, 2024 at the 1st Ward, 1078 McClelland Street (1050 East) Salt Lake City - 6 p.m. to Closing
We have planned a potluck dinner for that evening. The main course will be provided. Please bring a side dish of your choice. We look forward to seeing as many as possible.
A wonderful program planned. We sill have a wee visitor from Ireland, Elizabeth Smith, a friend of Molly Bird, a member of the Hollywood Road Chapel. She will be able to tell us about the current happenings in the Belfast Stake. We will also have some other Irish entertainment and a Epic Irish Journey video.
Presently we are helping two missionaries , a sister from Cavehill and an Elderfrom Portadown on their missions. Tom recently received a call from the Scottish-Ireland mission president, President McCrudden. He joined the church in 1979 in Ireland and our Shamrock Society helped support him on his mission to Washington State in 1980.
